Due to the pandemic, there was an 11% decline in the number of people starting cancer treatment in Northern Ireland. This was especially prevalent in older members of society, who seemingly didn’t want to be a bother, or disregarding symptoms as a by-product of ageing.
We wanted to confront that self-doubt by personifying the inner battle and monologue between conflicting thoughts. Encouraging the target audience to “talk to your GP, not yourself” and which symptoms to take seriously.
